ABOUT ME
I grew up in Upstate New York. I was raised in Syracuse and even attended Syracuse University. I am still a die-hard fan of everything Orangemen Football. I also enjoy the NFL, comedy, traveling, exercise, walking & hiking.
I now live in North Carolina. In between life, I have lived in New York City, San Francisco, and Albany, New York. Still, I enjoy the South. Not the heat, but the south is sweet. The mountains are 3 hours away, the ocean, 2. It's the best of both worlds, and I still get all of my beloved seasons.

I wear many hats (specifically, baseball caps). I am a worship leader, vocal coach, Bible teacher, and content creator. But at my core, I’m simply someone who loves Jesus, my home, my two children, and my cat. I am a mother of 2 girls. I adore them with all of my heart. They are beautifully unique in their ways, and I am genuinely proud of them.

You can often find me in my favorite comfy chair, smartphone in hand, writing, studying devotionals, and soaking in God’s Word. I’m highly extroverted and thrive when I’m with people or behind a microphone. Whether it is leading worship, teaching, or encouraging others in their faith. But what might surprise you is that I also love to retreat. My heart is fueled by quiet moments with the Lord, where I can reflect, journal, pray, dream, and then pray some more.

I have lived, grieved, and learned hard lessons through a marital break-up and family struggles (2 Corinthians 4:8-9). I also know anxiety very well, and it is my first actual testimony to God, his love, and experiencing the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). The Apostle Paul tells us we will have thorns in our flesh (2 Corinthians 12:7), but God's grace is sufficient for each day. I am a testimony to that.

I believe in the power of worship, the importance of biblical truth, and the beauty of community. Whether I’m leading a song, coaching a singer, or sharing a word of encouragement, my passion is to help others draw closer to God.

Will you join me in my life-long journey of knowing and loving Jesus? Living in him is the abundant life promised, and yes, it's all good when we shift our perspective toward God's plan for our lives. Wholeheartedly, I believe we can also have some fun along the way.

You are Loved,
Jodi

It's not what happens to you in life,
it's how you allow God to handle it.
